Our Story
In the early spring of 1955, Brother Keith Van Hook of City View Heights Baptist Church felt the need for a Baptist Mission in the North End of Hamilton, Ohio. He and a few dedicated laborers began a mission in the old store at 6th and Vine Streets to serve as a witness of the Lord Jesus Christ in Hamilton’s North End. In 1957, the church moved to Grant School. On May 7 th, 1958, the church purchased our current location on Allison Avenue. By God’s grace, the church gathered in 1959 with the name Allison Avenue Baptist Church. With a commitment to the faithful teaching and preaching of the Word of God. Founded upon the principles of the Reformation, we at Allison Avenue Baptist Church are a body of followers of Jesus Christ with love for the Lord and for love for one another. We embrace the mission and principles of our founding members to glorify the Lord as faithful witnesses to love and serve the North End of Hamilton as well as communities in southwest Ohio.

AABC Food Pantry has also been serving Butler County since 1985! The amount of love poured into this ministry is unmeasurable. Our current pantry offers not only food, but has a 'free store' with clothing and other house hold items!
